My birthday

My birthday was different this year; I was in Orlando for work training for two days. The weekend before my birthday Kevin took me to One Ocean Resort in Atlantic Beach. It was amazing. The hotel prides itself on guests experiencing tranquility and luxury and I believe they are true to their word.

I wasn't myself because the day before our reservation, I went through a pretty traumatic experience but we still went and well, I needed it more than I thought I did. I had a wonderful spa treatment. I would highly recommend their spa; even if you don't spend the night it was a perfect spa experience.

The best part of the spa treatment was when the massage was over; they put you in this room overlooking the ocean where you are served a glass of wine. It was so peaceful and tranquil; I think I sat there for about 40 minutes. I needed every second of it. As a matter of fact, we are going back in about a month and I can't wait!!

For dinner we ate at

Despite some reviews we received, we ended up there because the other places we were going to eat were overcrowded and just too loud for what I was looking for. We ended up having appetizers, drinking good wine and listening to swing band. I loved every second of it and will go back.

I wish I had pictures of the hotel and room, but don't worry I will next trip

Our Michael Bublé Vacation

I have a serious addiction to Michael Bublé . We saw him in Orlando then Tampa. ON Wed March 10th, we drove right from work to our first show. It was amazing!!

We stayed in Orlando on Wednesday and Thursday. Wed night we went to the concert, then Seaworld and Animal Kingdom on Thursday and Friday (and Macys of course). We stayed at the Peabody for this trip as well. Here are some pictures from the Michael show.

On Friday we headed to Tampa and stayed at the Hilton Tampa-Airport/Westshore. We didn't book soon enough and every hotel near the convention center was sold out. THe hotel was very nice and only about 15 minutes from the concert. It worked out because there was an fantastic outdoor mall right across the street. We had a great lunch at Brio before we checked in and enjoyed walking around.

On Saturday we woke up, relaxed and headed to the Hard Rock to gamble before the show. It was super exciting because I won some money (enough to pay all three shows, thank you!) so I left the table (miracle) took my winnings and didn't give it back. We headed downtown to the convention center and had dinner and this amazing tapas place. It was so good, next time we are there we are definitely going back. If you're in the Tampa area you have to visit this place.

See you in July Michael can't wait!!!
